Caymum is a place to chat to other mums (and dads) in Cayman – whether you are having trouble finding something on island, have a question about travelling off island or are just looking for recommendation and tips, your fellow mums will likely have the answer.
Here are a few guidelines to using the Mum-to-Mum forums or for commenting on any of the stories:
Before joining the conversation, you will need to register with a user name (your own or one of your own creation) and an email address, as we do not accept anonymous comments. You will receive a password via email (check your junk mail if you don’t receive it immediately). Your information will be kept private and confidential, and will not be shared with anyone else under any circumstance.
As in any conversation, please talk nicely to each other – as you would if you were to speaking to someone in person. In the tricky world of parenting, there are bound to be a variety of opinions on any given subject – please show respect, even if you disagree.
Caymum does not moderate comments or discussions in advance, and we will try to interfere with conversations as little as possible. However we will delete any posts we deem to be abusive – this includes, but is not limited to, personal attacks, obscenities, discrimination of any form (racism, sexism or other), or anything that could be considered to be breaking the law.
Caymum is not responsible or liable for the opinions shared by our readers in the comments sections or forums. However, if you have a complaint, or would like to report abuse, please contact us on email@example.com.
Please do not post promotional items on the forums as these will be deleted. If you have a product or service you would like Caymum to feature, please send the information by email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will consider it for a story if we think it is of interest to our readers.
